Stade de France

The Stade de France, the future Olympic Stadium of Paris 2024 Olympic Games, is the largest stadium in the country. It has been at the heart of all national and international sporting events organised in France since its inauguration for the 1998 FIFA World Cup. Being the largest modular stadium in the world, it can accommodate up to 80,000 spectators in the stands and up to 96,000 in concert configuration.

Tournament Delivery: 2019 Tournaments – Venues

iTurf Management was commissioned by FIFA for the 2019 U20 World Cup in Poland and the 2019 Women's World Cup in France. Its role is to inspect the pitches of the stadiums and training centres and determine the condition and playability of each. We carry out several visits to each site to enable us to diagnose the condition of the pitches and to establish a schedule for the work to be carried out. These visits also allow us to determine where the tournament organiser stands, what his final objective is and, above all, the actions to be taken to achieve it. The more time we have to prepare the tournaments, in agreement with the stakeholders, the better we can guarantee their success.
